About the Role:

To translate the concept and ideals of Jamie's Italian dream into a successfully operating restaurant and to closely support the General Manager and Head Chef, playing a vital role managing the smooth running of the office function for our NSW restaurants; Jamie's Italian Sydney and Jamie's Italian Parramatta.

You will be the go-to person for the managers to troubleshoot any challenges that arise with day-to-day operations. This is a unique opportunity to learn about how our business operates, while refining your organisational and administration skills. 

Challenges excite you and you have the experience, key qualities and all round administrative ability required to make this busy office function work. This is a full-time position, 5 days per week working from Monday to Friday and you must be flexible to work between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm to be considered for this role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Employee experience & support; recruitment, on boarding & administration of new starters.
  • Supporting the training function; working closely with our Jamie's Italian Training Manager.
  • Management of restaurant reservations and social media queries.
  • In-venue meetings management; agendas, minutes, actions & scheduling.
  • Booking & coordination of flights & accommodation for Jamie's Italian management training.
  • Financial management for back of house; invoice management, cash handling & reconciliation.
  • Maintaining in venue information to ensure compliance & currency.
  • Managing stock & maintenance of office supplies, first aid equipment & other WHS requirements.
  • Liaison with building management & contractors when necessary.
